The DREAM centre in Mthengo wa Ntenga, which opened just over a year ago, is situated on the outskirts of Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, in an area that has all the features of a rural area although it is close to the city.

In July, the centre was transferred to a new building set up a few dozen metres away from its original base, the local hospital.

The new structure has been planned and realized with the aim of offering the best possible treatment to patients (around 700 for now) coming from surrounding vast territory.

This area is dotted with many small villages that are very poor and completely deprived of health centres.
