Maputo, Mozambique Training, the challenge to achieve excellence
The XV PanAfrican Training Course organised by DREAM finished in MAPUTO on Oct.7th.
The course was designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, biologists and lab technicians, and was attended by operators from various African countries – Angola, The Democratic Republic of Congo, The Republic of Guinea, Cameroon and Togo, as well as from Mozambique.
The course which began on September 28th dealt with topics regarding the HIV infection and malnutrition but through both theory lessons and visits to the Programme’s clinical centres and laboratories it also enabled the participants to understand DREAM’s approach to sieropositive patients.
During the closing ceremony, many of them intervened to express their appreciation and gratitude for the quality of the training they had received.
There was satisfaction on the part of the tutors too for the improvement in knowledge shown in the end of course evaluation.
The ceremony finished on a festive note with the awarding of the course certificates.
