27th June. During his general audience, Pope Benedict XVI met Prof. Andrea Riccardi and a delegation from the Community of Sant’Egidio. His Holiness was presented with the ceremonial plaque dedicating to him the DREAM Centre of Conakry, in honour of his 80th birthday. |

The DREAM Centre of Conakry, a centre for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, is currently helping 1,000 sufferers and is the only centre in Guinea able to carry out a complete laboratory screening, and to provide patients with all-round support. |
Ambito
