Republic of Guinea: The II Training Course for Activists was inaugurated
Attended by numerous authorities, the II Training Course for Activists in Conakry was launched.
The course, which takes place between the 12th and the 17th of December, counts upon the participation of approximately 70 activists from the association “Je DREAM”, but also from other Associations committed to the fight against AIDS.
The beginning of the course was greeted with enthusiasm by the representatives of the Ministry of Health, the National Council for the Fight against AIDS and the Foundation of the First Lady of Guinea for the protection of mothers and children.
Everyone had words of encouragement to the participants and stressed the unique opportunity for the country of such training. At the same time have highlighted the need to raise a civil society that will accompany the National Institutions in the challenge against AIDS.
There was unanimous thanksgiving to the Community of Sant’Egidio for its role in supporting the country through its DREAM Program, but also through its presence and friendship that accompanies the democratic growth of Guinea.
Finally, the Ambassador of Spain in Guinea also expressed a heartfelt Thank You to the DREAM Program. In fact, the Course was made possible thanks to the contribution of the Spanish Cooperation.
The Ambassador emphasized that, despite the crisis, his country wants to engage in the fight against AIDS in Guinea by investing in effective projects such as the DREAM Program.
