The DREAM Center “para a Criança” in Maputo, created by the Community of Sant’Egidio within the DREAM program, received the visit of a delegation from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by the Undersecretary Mario Giro.

During the visit the work of the Program in the country was explained in its various aspects: molecular diagnostics, the vertical prevention, treatment of AIDS. At the same time the growth of DREAM was shown, from the treatment of HIV / AIDS that has characterized the last 13 years of our work in Africa to a Program of Global Health, DREAM 2.0, for the prevention and treatment of many other diseases affecting the African population: cancers, hepatitis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, tuberculosis, anemia.

The delegation expressed interest and appreciation for the work and the achievements accomplished.
