The visit of the new ambassador to the Clinique DREAM was welcomed by the team and the patients with great enthusiasm and, thanks to this meeting, we were able to talk about the various activities carried out by the Community of Sant’Egidio in the Central African Republic.

On this occasion, in addition to introducing the health activities of DREAM in the country, there was also the opportunity to talk about the important contribution to peace that the Community of Sant’Egidio makes in the country through dialogue and reconciliation.
In addition to the new ambassador, the meeting was also attended by the representative of the Italian Cooperation, the Honorary Consul in Bangui and the representative of the Central African government.

During the visit, the ambassador was impressed by the ability of the Clinique to provide advanced diagnostics and excellent care despite the logistical difficulties of the country.
The center has been equipped with laboratory equipment, electroencephalography and telemedicine also thanks to funding from Italian cooperation.
