The main objective of this project is to provide training for local healthcare personnel in Africa for the treatment of AIDS, malnutrition and related diseases, according to the DREAM model.
The Community of Sant’Egidio’s DREAM programme has a vast experience in training African healthcare personnel and often works together with the African Ministries of Health in order to increase these professionals’ skills and techniques, which prepares them to fight HIV/AIDS the best possible way. The training courses in this project consist of face-to-face lessons and on the job training periods of three months, for the various categories of healthcare professionals.
