Re-establishing healthcare services in Central Africa
Descrizione progetto
This project aims to increase access of people living with HIV to quality services and to reduce the number of children born with HIV from HIV+ mothers. The project also aims to increase access of the population to the diagnosis and treatment of other diseases such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma and hypertension. In order to satisfy these needs, the Ministry of Health explicitly requested for the “Clinique DREAM” to become a reference centre for chronic diseases in adults and children.
The activities include setting up a laboratory, training the staff of the “Mama Carla” centre, of the “Clinique DREAM” and public healthcare staff, providing medical consultations through telemedicine, support for the staff and purchasing medication.
