Hundreds of Mozambicans demonstrated on Monday in Maputo, Mozambique. They demand a better treatment and more privacy for AIDS patients, said TV5. Last February the country’s authorities announced the incorporation of specialist AIDS centres into the general health system, arguing that such clinics strengthen the sense of shame surrounding the disease. But according to the demonstrators, there have been a marked decrease in the number of patients reporting to clinics since the specialist centres were closed
